INSURANCE...Insurance is a funny thing; you never think about it until you need it!" Do you have adequate protection? You wouldn't climb without adequate protection, why run a business without it?
As a member of PACI you can take advantage of a specially developed insurance policy. You will have cover for Public Liability and Errors and Omissions. The insurance scheme is based on members' implementation of PACI standards & procedures. The PACI instructional manual outlines the critical workplace procedures, which ensures the health and safety of clients. The Public Liability insurance protects you, and your trainers, for injury to others even while they are taking part in an activity or course with you! Did you know most insurance excludes this? Yours Errors and Omissions insurance protects you when advice given to your students causes injury. Did you know that accidents caused by poor advice, even after your course or event, could result in YOU BEING SUED? Of course, you will need to talk the options over with an independent professional. You need to review all of the policy terms and conditions, so they specifically suit you.
